I’m all for more “interesting” music (take the acquired-taste nature of some of Radiohead’s stuff, for example), but I just thought this snippet was too dry. If you add more stuff in there to accompany it, I think you’ll be going in the right direction.

A lot of the next album is going to be a bit, well, odd on first listen, but that’s the nature of Dan’s more progressive side coming through. We’re confident that it will all make for our most interesting album yet – we’ll leave it to others to decide whether “interesting” equates with “better”!
